Ladies and Gentlemen,
Happy Valentine’s Day. As distributed yesterday, the Letter of Intent (LOI) for the Common Area Property Transfer has been signed. As such, on behalf of the HLRA BOD and HLRA Silverleaf Committee, today will commence the rollout of the Own The Ranch communication strategy. This comprehensive strategy is design to inform to the greatest degree possible through a video excerpt, document review, map graphic, etc. The culminating informational events will be in the form of (2) town halls. Below is an outline of the strategy components:
- HLRA Website (www.hollylakeranch.com): An additional tab has been added to the HLRA website. You must log-in to the website in order to view the tab. The additional tab, labeled Common Property Transfer, contains all past informational distributions relating to the property transfer. Additionally, the tab includes (4) key items labeled in numerical order. The numerical order is provided as a sequential manner in which to review all of the key material. It is our hope the sequential manner will help to foster clarity. Below is a brief synopsis of each key item:
- 1. Excerpt from Feb 6, 2024 Open Meeting: This is a 20 minute excerpt from the most recent BOD Open Meeting that provides background information on the property transfer, the distinction between the Common Property Transfer and the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort Sale, etc. If you were not able to attend the meeting or have not viewed the meeting via the HLRA YouTube Channel, this 20 minute excerpt provides recommended foundational information. - 2. HLRA Member Announcement_Property Transfer: This is a straight to the point document that provides key facts, outlines dates for the upcoming town halls, and provides election ballot dates. (attached for convenience)

- Common Area Maps: As soon as feasible, large maps will be displayed at the following locations across the Ranch: Admin, Holly Hall, Holly Hut, Holly House, Pro Shop, Whiskey’s Restaurant, and the Fitness Center.
- Dedicated Email Address: OwnTheRanch@hollylakeinfo.com is now live. Please direct all questions/comments related to the Common Area Property Transfer to OwnTheRanch@hollylakeinfo.com. Questions submitted to this email address will be reviewed by the HLRA Silverleaf Committee. General responses will be delivered either via mass email distribution or discussed at the town halls.
- Town Halls: HLRA will conduct town hall meetings at Holly Hall on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 10:00am; and Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 6:00pm. Both town halls will be recorded and available for viewing on the HLRA YouTube Channel.
- Ballots: Ballots will be distributed via a special mailing on February 20, 2024. As per standard protocol, details for returning the ballots will be included on the actual ballot.
